The Department is characterised by a strong vocation for internationalisation and collaborates in teaching and research with several high-profile international research institutions and universities, such as TU Darmstadt (Germany), Harvard University (USA), University of Surrey (United Kingdom), Tsinghua University (China), Baudre College (Israel).
In addition, a cultural-scientific agreement between the University of Bergamo, Colorado State University-Pueblo (USA), Praxair and SIAD Spa has been in place for several years, which enables students from our university to spend a period of six months at Praxair and Colorado State University-Pueblo (USA).
International studies and Erasmus+
The Department, in the context of the agreements of the University of Bergamo, offers students the opportunity to participate in the main mobility programme in Europe, namely the Erasmus+ Programme.
This programme allows you to carry out a period of study at another European institution with an active exchange agreement.
There are around 50 locations and 150 mobility grants available to engineering students.
Similar to the Erasmus+ programme, there is also an Extra-EU Programme with non-European countries including (United States, Mexico, Brazil, Israel, Russian Federation, China, South Korea, Australia).
