Lecturers belonging to the Department, also in the framework of Internship and Placement activities organised by the University, actively collaborate in the implementation of the following activities:

• Open Days during which Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes within the department are presented. Since 2019, there has been an open day for Engineering Campus Laboratories open to both prospective students and families to showcase the laboratory equipment for research and education.

• Orientation and training activities through the participation of our teachers in information events organised by higher education institutions active in the Bergamo area both at our premises and at the institutions concerned.

• Internship/traineeship activities by offering support when searching for and taking part in training placements (both compulsory and optional) and scholarships in Italy and abroad using a well-established network of contacts with public and private companies, associations, public and private bodies, foundations and national and international institutions. In fact, internships are an excellent opportunity to enhance students’ application skills in industrial and non-industrial fields, depending on the course of study.

Finally, every year the Engineering Campus hosts Career Days organised by the Internship and Placement Office with the aim of creating contacts between engineering undergraduates and the world of work.
